Welcome to Fuel Pass SL ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This policy explains our stance on data collection and the steps we take to protect your privacy when you use our mobile application.

By downloading, accessing, or using Fuel Pass SL, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. No Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any servers.

All information you input into the app (such as vehicle registration details, fuel quotas, or generated QR codes) is stored securely and exclusively on your local device.

We do not have access to your personal data, nor do we share it with any third parties.

3. App Permissions

To provide and improve our service, we may request the following device permissions for core features to work entirely on your device:

• Camera Access: Required strictly to scan QR codes. The images are processed locally and never uploaded.
• Storage & Media Library Access: Required to read images from your local storage and save downloaded or imported QR codes directly to your device.
• Internet Access: Required to fetch real-time fuel prices and to access the official Fuel Pass portal via the in-app browser. We do not track your browsing history.
• Biometric Authentication (Face ID/Touch ID): Required to secure the app. Biometric data never leaves your device and is not collected by us.

4. Third-Party Interactions

Fuel Pass SL is designed to be as independent as possible. Our interactions with third-party services are limited to the following:

Government Portal Integration (fuelpass.gov.lk)

The app provides a direct interface to the official government portal to facilitate QR code retrieval. When you log in to this portal via the in-app browser:

• No Credential Capture: We do not capture, see, or store your phone number, OTP, or any other credentials entered into the government site.
• Local Storage: Only the resulting QR image is captured and stored locally on your device for your convenience.
• This interaction is handled directly between your device and the government servers.

No Advertising

Fuel Pass SL is 100% ad-free. We do not use any advertising networks (such as Google AdMob), tracking scripts, or analytics to monitor your behavior or serve advertisements. Your experience remains private and uninterrupted.

(Note: If our app connects to a backend service like Supabase, it is strictly to fetch public data such as current fuel prices, and is not used to collect user-identifiable data).

5. Data Security

Because your data is stored exclusively on your device, you are entirely in control of its safety.

• You can delete all your data at any time simply by clearing the app's cache/data in your device settings or by uninstalling the application.

Please note: Since we do not store your data on any server, we cannot recover your data if you lose your phone or uninstall the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children because we do not collect personal data from anyone.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on your device or via updating the app. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
